April 29, 2010, also known as Flashforward Day or D-Day, is the day of the flashforwards seen during the first Global Blackout. It is also the day of the second Global Blackout. Flashforward Day is a Thursday.

More specifically, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at 11:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (Daylight Saving Time in 2009 did not end until November 1, 2009), the entire world lost consciousness in the Global Blackout and experienced a flashforward of consciousness to 10:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (Daylight Saving Time in 2010 began on March 14, 2010) on Thursday, April 29, 2010, six months in the future. On Flashforward Day, there were global celebrations as people counted down to the time of the flashforward. ("Countdown")

At 10:14 PM Pacific Daylight Time, a second Global Blackout occurred. ("Future Shock")
