Marc Guggenheim's Flashforward of the show's ending
For those who may have always wondered how the show would've ended if it was renewed, I spoke with showrunner Marc Guggenheim who was kind enough to give me a quick outline of the future (episodes):
“They were going to leapfrog, leap over, an extinction-level event. They were going to move human consciousness over this event that was going to destroy all of human-kind. So the bad guys really were the good guys. And Mark (Joseph Fiennes) and Lloyd (Jack Davenport) were going to have to work together once the bad guys were killed to try to finalize their last plan. In the final flash forward, before all of this, was going to be black and no one knows anything. No one saw anything because everybody was going to be dead.”
