She witnessed the murder of Neil Parofsky. Parofsky gave a briefcase to two men with three-star tattoos and was then killed by the men. Alvarez caught the entire incident, which she thought was a mugging, on cell phone video. She also heard the men discussing "QED". ("Playing Cards with Coyote")
