Lloyd Simcoe saw a plush toy kangaroo in Dylan's room when he visited Dylan's mother's house. ("Black Swan")

A few weeks later, Benford and Aaron Stark saw a kangaroo, which may or may not have been the same kangaroo, while they were trick-or-treating with Charlie Benford. ("Scary Monsters and Super Creeps")
