2009 Worst TV Accent Awards Edit

Wwwwwwwwwwelcome, ladies and gentlemen, one and all to the long-awaited Worst TV Accent Awards, 2009! This year we shall determine the three worst accents on television at this time!

Our third place winner is a minor character on popular TV series 'Lost.' Appearing in the Fourth and Fifth seasons, we are proud to present the Third Place trophy to Susan Duerden for her role as Carole Littleton, mother of main character Claire! She receives this award for producing the second-worst Australian accent known to man, and is in fact a British Actress.

Our runner-up is a supporting character on popular TV series 'Eureka.' Appearing in every season thusfar, we are proud to present the Runner-Up trophy to Matt Frewer for his role as Jim Taggart, Eureka's resident nutjob! He receives this award for producing the absolute worst Australian accent known to man, and is in fact an American Actor.

And now, the award you've all been waiting for... Our winner, ladies and gentleman, is a major character on relatively new series 'Flashforward.' This man - an Irish actor playing an American character - produces without a doubt the most cringe-worthy accent ever heard on this earth. This barely-withstandable mix of Irish and American intonations will have any decent viewer shaking his head and turning down the volume as questions of how such a man could ever be cast flash through their heads. Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present this year's winner of the Worst TV Accent Awards, the very deserving Brian F. O'Byrne, for his role as Aaron Stark!
