Orion's beltEdit

For what it's worth, the pattern of the tattoo (three starts with the center star slightly out of line with the other two) resembles Orion's belt. The pictures of the tattoo on this wiki show the central star above the other two, which is what Orion's belt would look like if Orion's "head" were upside down. According to the wiki article I linked to, an annual meteor shower occurs in the region of space occupied by the constellation. It occurs in October, the same month as the blackouts in FlashForward. Orion's belt was also used to keep time. Finally, the constellation is named after a figure in Greek mythology. The show has other references to Greece, including the hydra (a creature from Greek mythology that is also a constellation), the Cyprus map (very close to Greece), and the Antikythera Mechanism, a device used for astronomy. • Also, the letter alpha on the rings and the balloons shaped like seahorses, "hippocampus" in Greek. TheUnknown285 20:33, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
